Accessing Whitehall Training
Whitehall Training is dynamic web-based application exploiting state-of the art technologies to provide a cutting edge user experience. To access Whitehall Training all a client needs is a web browser and a PC. Whitehall Training supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari. A student self-registers and is required to enter a username and password to access the system. Managers can have several learners and for the largest organisations, we can set up a coordinator who may have several managers beneath them. Managers and coordinators also access the system with a username and password but a coordinator account can only be created by an administrator from the client organisation.
All data transferred between the client PC and the Infonetica server is encrypted using SSL. The Whitehall Training software is hosted in a secure data centre. System protection is provided through a combination of physical security at the data centres, network security via firewalls, and security measures within the application itself. Backend access, to either the database or the file system, is only available to authorized Infonetica employees.
Data storage and backups
Full data back-up and disaster recovery procedures are in place to ensure the safety, security and operation of the system. Data is kept indefinitely until a client requests its removal.
A client using the Whitehall Training service can expect 99.9% Uptime Service Level during Standard Working Hours on Working Days.
Infonetica offers a full Customer Support service to all clients. The Support Team is available via telephone and e-mail to log any problems with the service. The service desk is available during office hours (09:00 – 17:00), Monday to Friday.
Whitehall Training is an N-tier architecture system. Infonetica is a Microsoft Gold Partner giving it access to the latest Microsoft technologies to build applications. Whitehall Training has been built using the latest .NET and SQL Server versions.
Infonetica continually assesses the functionality of the system and adopts a flexible approach to enhancements and upgrades. Client requests are paramount when assessing and prioritising both enhancements and upgrades. All enhancement and upgrade works are thoroughly tested in a separate environment before any uploads to the live system. Infonetica executes a ‘Zero-Downtime’ upgrade and maintenance plan.
