About the role:

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering the global Go-to-Market strategy for our suite of research workflow, compliance and information management solutions. They will manage the global Sales & Marketing team, with team members based in both the UK and Australia.

 

As part of the Leadership Team, the ideal candidate must be a progressive, ambitious, commercially creative individual, and a natural leader with a collaborative ‘player-manager’ working style.  The opportunity will interest candidates who are as comfortable in the boardroom as they are on the ‘shop-floor’ (or research admin office) of our customers’ organisations. They will be able to create and build relationships with ease, and get a buzz out of growth and change.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Accountable for sales and marketing strategy

·       Lead Infonetica’s global sales and marketing team

·       Accountable for setting and delivering sales targets for both our software and training businesses

·       Accountable for the end-to-end sales pipeline

·       Create and execute coordinated sales and marketing campaigns around key events for the global research community

·       Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and re-contracting with customers

·       Identify, manage and execute tenders

·       Manage key customer relationships

·       Establish commercial presence in new markets and countries

·       Develop commercial offers for new products

·       Nurture and grow the commercial teams

·       Lead and support company-wide / cross-functional initiatives

Working Location:

We expect the successful candidate to regularly travel to meet with Customers at their offices and at conferences both in the UK and internationally.  When not on Customer site, the primary work location is our Head Office in Esher (KT10 9SD), which is a 30-minute train ride from London Waterloo or just off the A3 if coming by car.

 

Most of the team work three days a week in the office: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday with remote workers living more than 2hrs from the office, coming in at least once a month for collaborative sessions and celebrations.
