About the role…

In this Sales & Customer Development role, you will:

  • Identify business opportunities by researching customer segments and tracking tender portals
  • Establish contact with prospects, build relationships and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Manage and deliver on sales pipelines
  • Understand organisational and decision-making setups within prospective customers
  • Develop key senior stakeholder relationships
  • Lead product demonstrations
  • Drive the tendering processes
  • Lead contract and pricing discussions
  • Manage account and renew contracts of existing customers

About you…

Applicants with strong technical/software sales background in universities and hospitals are preferred. To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Energy and drive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to hold meaningful conversations with academics and researchers
  • Excellent prospecting skills
  • Experience working towards and achieving sales targets

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Healthcare or research background
  • Experience with SaaS contracts and a general understanding of data protection provisions in contracts
