Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Determining the why, what, and when of a product or feature
  • Conducting market research and developing a deep understanding of business trends and competition 
  • Conducting competitor benchmarking and identification value differentiators
  • Definition of, and accountability for, product goals and metrics
  • Define and lead product(s) strategy
  • Lead product discovery to understand user pain points by talking to customers
  • Achieve product-market fit for new products
  • Development of go-to-market strategy by collaborating with other stakeholders
  • Development of user stories and the translation of business goals and end user needs to product strategy
  • Co-ordinate with Product Designer to design the product features adhering to modern design principles
  • Coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure all team members are on the right page 
  • Decision-making using strategic thinking and guidance from the Product Team
  • Collaboration across the Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure a strong and shared product vision 
  • Understanding the current product backlog, and support with the prioritisation of this
  • Understanding and overseeing the development process of the product—while that doesn’t have product managers in the trenches coding with developers, you will be working closely with the engineering team to ensure they understand how the product works
  • Updating product material with new developments
  • Supporting product demonstrations to potential customers

Working Location:

We expect the successful candidate to regularly travel to meet with Customers at their offices and at conferences both in the UK and internationally.  When not on Customer site, the primary work location is our Head Office in Esher (KT10 9SD), which is a 30-minute train ride from London Waterloo or just off the A3 if coming by car.

 

Most of the team work three days a week in the office: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday with remote workers living more than 2hrs from the office, coming in at least once a month for collaborative sessions and celebrations.
