Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Finance function and monthly reporting cycle across Infonetica’s international operations.
You will maintain accurate financial records, support month-end andyear-end reporting, prepare management information and work closely withcolleagues and external advisers on accounting, compliance and continuousimprovement.
Key responsibilities include:
· Manage day-to-day accounting in Xero, including supplier invoices, expense claims, credit card transactions and sales receipts
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including customer invoicing, payment runs and debt collection
· Support customer billing and renewal processes, ensuring pricing and invoicing are consistent with contractual terms
· Complete month-end close activities and prepare reconciled trial balances and supporting schedules
· Prepare and post journals including deferred income, prepayments, accruals, depreciation and foreign exchange adjustments
· Complete bank, credit card and balance-sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
· Manage intercompany accounting, including invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
· Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis, investigating and explaining significant movements
· Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting through the preparation and maintenance of financial schedules and analysis
· Administer payroll and commission calculations, including associated journals and reconciliations
· Prepare VAT, GST and other indirect-tax workings across international entities and support external advisers with regulatory and tax filings
· Prepare year-end schedules, audit documentation and supporting information for statutory accounts and tax processes
· Work with colleagues across the business to ensure financial information is accurate, complete and available on a timely basis
· Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
· Maintain and improve financial processes, procedures and controls, including identifying opportunities for automation and greater efficiency
· Support ad hoc finance projects and analysis as required
Desired skills and experience:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
· Minimum six years’ relevant accounting experience, including hands-on bookkeeping and month-end accounting
· B.Com, M.Com or a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
· Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting, general ledger accounting and balance-sheet reconciliations
· Experience preparing trial balances, management accounts and supporting schedules.
· Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and year-end reporting
· Hands-on proficiency in Xero and strong Excel skills
· Experience with multi-currency accounting, ideally within an international organisation
· Good understanding of accounting standards, financial controls and compliance requirements
· Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently
· Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to collaborate effectively across an international organisation
· Experience within a SaaS or technology business would be advantageous
Experience: minimum 6-10 years of accounting experience
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent role through an Employer of Record (EOR)
Compensation: Market related monthly salary plus performance related bonus
