Introduction
Every day, our team works tirelessly to implement our solutions for our ever-growing number of customers, configuring our products to meet their organisations’ unique needs and streamline their research processes.
Today, we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a particular implementation we’ve been working on recently: our flagship product Ethics RM for Research Manitoba in Canada.
Research Manitoba is a provincial agency which promotes, supports, and coordinates the funding of research excellence and innovation in health, natural and social sciences, engineering, and the humanities in Manitoba.
Last year, they announced they were seeking a single, user-friendly platform which would enable researchers to create harmonised ethics, privacy, and healthcare institution applications, and our Ethics RM solution was the perfect fit. Our experience of partnering with nearly 150 institutions worldwide, including 17 in Canada, to empower their research through intuitive and configurable systems stood us in good stead and, since the partnership was agreed, we’ve spent the last few months rolling out our solution to advance research across Manitoba.
User Acceptance Testing stage
Over the last year, we've streamlined our implementation process further to reduce the effort required from customers and this has brought the time to go-live of our fully configured systems to under 6 months. We are now at the UAT (User acceptance testing) stage of our implementation with Research Manitoba and are pleased to have made significant progress so far in configuring our solution to perfectly suit Research Manitoba. From the outset, Research Manitoba were particularly attracted by the “flexibility” of our solution, enabling multi-site initiatives to operate seamlessly via a standardised yet adaptable workflow, and it is this versatility that we are currently harnessing as we curate a system designed for their needs.
Hear from those involved
The excellent team at Research Manitoba continue to be involved in these final stages of implementation:
“Working with Infonetica has been a transformative experience. Their expertise and collaborative approach have fast-tracked our development process, and we’re looking forward to the next stage – User Acceptance Testing – as we prepare to launch this innovative system province-wide." - Liz Lylyk, Director, RITHIM, Research Manitoba
We also asked our Infonetica colleagues who have been implementing the solution at Research Manitoba to give their thoughts:
“Infonetica is proud to be partnering with Research Manitoba to support the development and rollout of the RITHIM system across the province. As we enter the next phase of the project, we look forward to delivering a user friendly and streamlined system for ethical, privacy and healthcare reviews. Our mission is to empower research to advance lives through software for researchers. This project allows us to further our mission by supporting new audiences in Manitoba and to continue expanding our partnerships across Canada.” – Eliot Pallot, Head of Customer Success, Infonetica
"I've really enjoyed working with Elizabeth and her team over at Research Manitoba. The system we configured for them is beautifully complex for it to accommodate their specific needs at Research Manitoba. The team, composed of members overseeing their current review processes, has been very engaged throughout the implementation phase. They've very clearly explained their processes and needs to us, which has made our job of building the system so efficient and effective. It's the testing phase now and I can't wait till the system goes live!" - Jeremy Rivera, Customer Experience Manager, Infonetica
