These dedicated professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that innovative research thrives, and institutions achieve their goals. As the backbone of research success, they manage everything from helping researchers to secure grants to ensuring compliance with a myriad of regulations, playing a critical role in advancing pioneering research.

Lori Hurley, Research Data Steward at Macquarie University
Lori has been instrumental in refining Macquarie’s main Data Management Plan (DMP) form, developing a unique set of data handling questions for Human Research Ethics applicants. She dedicated significant effort to adapting and integrating Macquarie’s DMP questions into the Human Research Ethics Application form within the Infonetica system.
She plays a key role in providing support to fellow research administrators in Macquarie University's Infonetica user group and advising Human Research Committees and researchers on research data management good practices.
Her exceptional problem-solving skills, unwavering dedication, and commitment to sharing best practices in research data management make her an invaluable asset to the team.
